A few years ago, I attempted to schedule a trip to Hawaii for some soccer games during the summer. Originally everyone seemed excited and willing to go. When I had most of the scheduling and cost information, I ended up not having enough committed players to go.

The whole package in 2007 was $1000 per person. This included airfare, hotel, car rental, soccer games, etc for 7 days. The cost was for players and family members. It would have been a great family vacation. This is a great deal to Hawaii considering if you booked yourself, it would be much more expensive.

I would like to consider a trip in July of 2011. This would give us a couple of years to prepare. Families can plan a long-range trip to Hawaii for vacation. I am sure it might cost a little more, but usually it is very reasonable compared to if you go with just your family.

I would go even if it cost more. For a trip to Hawaii AND soccer its worth it.

I think it is a great idea and my family would be interested in going.
